[nx_spacer size=”5″]Was mir beim Lesen von Daniel Kapitel 10 eingefallen ist:
(1) Wenn wir die Weltnachrichten sehen oder lesen, haben wir so etwas wie ein Foto der Geschichte vor uns. Bibellesern gewährt die Prophetie einen kleinen Blick „hinter den Vorhang“, damit sie Hintergründe und Zusammenhänge erkennen. Prophetie ist so etwas wie ein Röntgenbild der Geschichte.
(2) Es gibt Christen, die dazu neigen, hinter allem das Wirken des Gegenspielers Gottes zu sehen. Das andere Extrem wäre, die Existenz Satans zu leugnen. Biblisch ist, dass hinter den Kulissen eine geistig-geistliche Auseinandersetzung stattfindet. Allerdings ist Satan ein bereits besiegter Feind. Der Sieger steht seit 2000 Jahren fest: Jesus Christus!
(3) Bei dieser Auseinandersetzung geht es letztlich um die Frage: Ist Gott ein Gott der Liebe? Können wir ihm restlos vertrauen? Ist er unserer Bewunderung und Anbetung würdig? Meine Überzeugung: dreimal JA!
Photo or X-ray image? (Daniel 10)
What came to my mind while reading Daniel chapter 10:
(1) When we watch or read the world news, we have something like a photograph of history in front of us. Bible readers are granted a little glimpse “behind the curtain” so that they can see the background and context. Prophecy is something like an X-ray image of history.
(2) There are Christians who tend to see the workings of God’s adversary behind everything. The other extreme would be to deny the existence of Satan. From a biblical point of view, there is a mental-spiritual debate going on behind the scenes. However, Satan is an already defeated enemy. The winner has been determined 2000 years ago: Jesus Christ!
(3) Ultimately, this debate is about the question: Is God a God of love? Can we trust him completely? Is he worthy of our admiration and adoration? My conviction: three big YES! (Foto)
¿Foto o radiografía? (Daniel 10)
Lo que me vino a la mente mientras leía el capítulo 10 de Daniel:
(1) Cuando vemos o leemos las noticias, tenemos algo como una fotografía de la historia delante de nosotros. A los lectores de la Biblia se les concede un pequeño vistazo “detrás del telón” para que puedan ver el background y el contexto. La profecía es algo así como una radiografía de la historia.
(2) Hay cristianos que tienden a ver al adversario de Dios actuando detrás de todo lo que ocurre. El otro extremo sería negar la existencia de Satanás. La Biblia dice que detrás del escenario se produce un enfrentamiento mental-espiritual. Sin embargo, Satanás es un enemigo ya derrotado. El ganador se ha confirmado ya hace 2000 años: ¡Jesucristo!
(3) En definitiva, en este debate nos enfrentamos a la pregunta: ¿Es Dios un Dios de amor? ¿Podemos confiar en él completamente? ¿Es digno de nuestra admiración y adoración? Mi convicción personal: ¡tres grandes síes! (Foto)
