(1) Mit Zwang und Manipulation lässt sich nichts erreichen, das nachhaltig ist und Bestand hat.
(2) Der Glaube ist keine all-inclusive Lebensversicherung, die uns jedes Leid und jede Feuerprobe erspart. Aber selbst im „Feuerofen“ lässt uns Gott nicht allein.
(3) Wohl jedem, der sich nicht von der Parole „We can!“ blenden lässt, sondern sich darauf verlässt: „Mein Gott kann!“ – auch wenn Er nicht muss.

Rediscovered while reading the Bible (Daniel chapter 3):
(1) With force and manipulation nothing can be achieved that is sustainable and endures.
(2) Faith is not an all-inclusive life insurance that spares us every suffering and trial. But even in the “furnace of fire” God never leaves us alone.
(3) Blessed is everyone who is not blinded by the slogan “We can!” but relies on “My God can! – even if He doesn’t have to.
Dios puede, pero no debe (Daniel 3)
Me llamó la atención mientras leía la Biblia (capítulo 3 de Daniel):
(1) Con coacción y manipulación no se puede lograr nada que sea sostenible y perdurable.
(2) La fe no es un seguro de vida all-inclusive que nos ahorrara todo el sufrimiento y pruebas duras. Pero incluso en el “horno de fuego” Dios no nos dejará nunca solos.
(3) Felices todos los que no se dejan cegar por el eslogan “¡Nosotros podemos!” (We can) sino que confían en “¡Mi Dios puede! – aunque no esté obligado a hacerlo.
